But the shadow of progress cools the heart
Commuters march in a haphazard fashion
Stoney faced they leave their mark
A woman stops to catch her reflection
A drop of beauty she lights the street
An office worker taps on the keys
A second life is it real?
A chipped glass cuts his lip
The only reminder he has a tear
The many rules they are bound
But minds so well hidden they may never be found.
