 Boxing Boys by Russell Freeman. This painting was sold for an auction record of $5800.00 at Bonham's in Adelaide.


 Derek Langdon, The Mayor Kym McHugh and artist David Dridan. The Freeman painting above was a finalist in the Royal SA Society of Arts "150th Year Anniversary Art Prize" Here art collector Mr Langdon is donating the painting to Strathalbyn Racing Club where it hangs in the private members area. The handing over of the painting involved a large ceremony with VIP's.

 Russell Freeman & Jason Gillespie. Here the Australian cricket star Gillespie at Freeman's house to look at the finished 12ft wide painting that Freeman entered into the 2005 Archibald Prize. Freeman Painted 3 large paintings and several smaller portraits of the athletic fast bowler.
